If you've read any of our recent articles, you'll have seen us reference discovering new bands through Groover, a music submission and discovery platform. With that in mind, we wanted to drill down into what Groover is and summarise a few of the most recent submissions we've received.

Introducing: Lomor
Over the years, we've taken delight in covering bands from all over the world. But I don't think I ever thought we'd be bringing you a thrash band from the Indian Ocean. Yet that's exactly what we're doing with the exciting old-school sound of Lomor, who hail from Réunion Island, a French overseas department near Madagascar and Mauritius.

Our third French band in a week sees us discover the alternative metal sound of Ice Chemicals. The Parisian collective have honed a style that plays with elements of metalcore, melodeath and neo metal and utilises dual male and female vocals.
Introducing: The Dead Krazukies
French band The Dead Krazukies offer up a hugely enjoyable nod to 90s skate punk with metal and hardcore edges that they summarise as "energetic, dramatic and catchy" - and definitely not emo.
