Our latest edition of new music from bands we’ve previously interviewed brings you new rock, metal and punk tracks to get your weekend started. This month, we’ve got new music by seven bands from Canada, France, Spain and the UK.
Spain-based project Pick Up Goliath aims to push the boundaries of heavy, cinematic music with an engaging metal symphony sound that they describe as “epic, unpredictable, and narrative.”
The sound of Spanish band Mind Traveller has evolved over the years but, after a lengthy hiatus, they’re back with a thrillingly powerful, groove-packed metalcore approach that they describe as “intense, emotive and hopeful.”
Peru-born, Spain-based newcomers Lima Shakes have honed an engaging old-school rock sound that they describe as “fresh, real and relatable.”
Indeed, Barcelona-based melodic death metal band Worth is only the sixth Spanish band we’ve covered and the first since March 2021 – but it’s been well worth the wait (pardon the pun).
One country we’ve been sadly lacking new bands from is Spain, having not featured a Spanish band in over a year and only five in the four years of running the site. However, we’re putting that right with potentially the best Spanish band we’ve discovered so far in grunge rockers Automatic Kafka.
