Introducing: Forgetaboutit

Norwegian punk has been one of our favourite discoveries in 8 years of running GigRadar, but it's been a while (over 2 years) since we discovered any new bands from this specific genre. However, that wait is over as we introduce you to 90s skate punk scene inspired Oslo quartet Forgetaboutit.

Introducing: Sunshine

Sunshine combines, in their words, "a vibrant amalgamation of diverse subgenres," bringing together elements of hardcore, punk and black metal in an aggressive yet harmonic whirlwind of musical energy. Formed of six guys who'd been active in various metal bands for several years, Sunshine combine to bring us an intriguing sound that they summarise as "uncompromising, honest and love."

Album Review: Defences – Shadowlight

Hertfordshire band Defences promised us "the launching point for a brand new sound" that would be "heavier, more experimental and soulful, more personal and intimate" when we interviewed them about their single In Eclipse back in April 2019. Fast-forward five years, and we're seeing them settle into and flourish in that thrilling new sound.
