Your guide to new rock, metal and punk bands worldwide
Today, we have reached the milestone of the 1,000th article to be published on GigRadar. Since setting the site up from scratch in August 2016, we've covered new bands from all over the world and I'm pleased to say that numbers are only on the rise.
We first met London-based rock trio supporting The Dead XIII and our pals in City of Ashes back in late 2017. At that time they'd just released debut single Teeth, but they've since established a name for themselves with their energetic live show before releasing their debut EP in February.
One of my favourite bands since setting this site up has been Brighton rockers City of Ashes. I've seen them live three or four times, always enjoyed chatting to the guys at gigs and loved their music, so it's a bittersweet moment that the band is evolving into new and exciting things as Hear Lies....
