We're kicking off August with a bang as we bring you eight new tracks from bands previously featured on GigRadar. This edition of On The Radar brings you a mix of industrial rock and metal featuring bands from Germany, Japan, Poland, the UK and the US.
Our new music updates have been away for a little while, but we're back with a monthly dose of GigRadar Fresh Tunes, our Spotify playlist bringing you the best new tracks from new rock and metal bands worldwide.
We've gone through new music released in the last month to compile a 40-track playlist update from bands in Australia, Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the UK and the US. And that comprises a mix of everything from rock, post-hardcore and punk to metalcore, symphonic metal, technical death metal and cyberpunk.
Fusing rocky instrumentals with the distinctive vocals of frontwoman Bexx, Bexatron describe their sound as "high-octane pop with a glam coat." Which is a pretty good image to be introduced to them with.
We were treated to great performances from four bands across the wide spectrum of rock and metal as Esprit d'Air and Lightscape were joined by Bexatron and the impressively heavy These Thousand Hills at the O2 Academy 2 in Islington on Friday night.
