New York band The Nude began with vocalist Luke Bergstedt addressing an existential crisis that left him asking himself “are you a musician or not?” during the pandemic. Norwegian punk has been one of our favourite discoveries in 8 years of running GigRadar, but it’s been a while (over 2 years) since we discovered any new bands from this specific genre. However, that wait is over as we introduce you to 90s skate punk scene inspired Oslo quartet Forgetaboutit.

We’ve gone through new music released in the last month to compile a 40-track playlist update from bands in Australia, Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the UK and the US. And that comprises a mix of everything from rock, post-hardcore and punk to metalcore, symphonic metal, technical death metal and cyberpunk.
