Stoner rockers Ravenswood are true OGs of the grunge scene, given that guitarist Chad was lucky enough to have seen Nirvana play live in Seattle before their debut album Bleach dropped. And the band have crafted a dank and moody, seriously low-tuned (B-standard) stoner rock sound that’s deliciously more-ish and they describe as “Lovecraftian post-Sludge.”
British hard rockers Paradise Sins harness the raw energy of classic rock’n’roll and melodic metal in an engaging sound that they describe as “huge, harmonious and heartfelt.”
Texas trio The Infamists describe themselves as a “three-headed rattlesnake” due to the feisty nature of a riff-heavy diverse stoner rock sound they summarise as “heavy, bluesy, and barbequed.”
Tennessee rockers Line So Thin have crafted a powerful and catchy heavy rock sound that they describe as “emotional, intense and honest.”
British trio Sleemo have crafted a genre-defying sound that combines elements of alternative metal, sludge, noise, post-hardcore and shoegaze and they describe as “dark, heavy and brooding.”
Bolton band Pageant Mum have crafted an intriguingly grungey, punky and catchy post-hardcore sound that aims to offer a voice for people going through the “shit parts of life” and they describe as “angry, dynamic and messy.”
London-based band Howling Hawk combine the best of British rock, from 90s Britpop to indie rock and 60s touches, in a sound they describe as a “B-side from 95.”
ard rock and metal collective September Mourning see themselves as more than just a band, but a transmedia project that fuses music, comics and performance into a single immersive universe.
